Accreditation and Membership
Unicollege is a degree-granting undergraduate and graduate university accredited by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR). Its academic programs operate within the Italian Higher Education System and comply with national regulations governing degree structure, academic workload, assessment, and quality assurance.
Unicollege degree programs are structured in accordance with internationally recognized qualification frameworks and are comparable to degree levels used in U.S. higher education. Within the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), Unicollege awards:
- Bachelor’s Degrees — EQF Level 6, comparable to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s Degrees — EQF Level 7, comparable to a U.S. Master’s degree
- Doctoral Degrees — EQF Level 8, comparable to a U.S. doctoral degree (PhD or professional doctorate)
Academic workload is measured using the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which supports transparency and international mobility. For the purposes of advising, recognition, and transfer, ECTS credits are provided with clear U.S.-intelligible conversions, allowing U.S. partner institutions to evaluate coursework and degree levels within familiar academic standards.
